1973 Solex S 3800 USA General Information:

 ~ gold, green and white SOLEX oval sticker on front of steering tube 

  ~ late-'73s also have green, silver and white SOLEX bar stickers on frame sides

  ~ Made in France metal tag on seat post

  ~ rounded edges on brake levers

  ~ twist-grip on right side of handlebars

  ~ gray/green grips, seat and footrest

  ~ gray cable sheaths

  ~ black, with gold pinstripes on the fenders 

  ~ clear headlight bulb; headlight by CIBIE

  ~ TUM 80A or TUM 80A CM 6.5 cylinder

  ~ many sold in Michigan and Ohio

  ~ most common year and model Solex in the USA

  ~ standard pedals are by Lyotard, white or white with orange reflectors; 

       or by Union, black with orange reflectors

   ~ standard taillight, by SEIMA
